Ken Briggs

Hons BSc (Agric) (Stell), MSc Development Economics (Oxon)

Ken has over 12 years of professional management consulting experience. He initiated his consulting career with Deloitte Consulting, where he served as a senior and principal consultant for four years. Prior to consulting, Ken worked for a development agency where he gained five years experience in enterprise development, focusing on promoting economic empowerment. He specialises in economics and development. Ken has combined his transformation and development skills in undertaking the establishment of Public Private Partnerships (PPP). Over the years he has developed a special focus in the transport and tertiary education sectors. In addition to his public sector work, Ken has extensive private sector experience in establishing and restructuring business ventures. 


Raeesa Bulbulia

BComm (Economics & Business Economics)

Raeesa, has held senior executive management positions in a number of companies, including multinational FMCG companies. Prior to embarking on a consulting career, she held the position of marketing director at a major multi-national. Raeesa has 22 years marketing experience in the public, private, NGO’s, corporate and SMME sectors. In addition to consulting, over the last five years she has been associated with Primedia Instore in the capacity of non-executive director. Her consulting activities are currently focused on Strategy Formulation and Strategic Marketing Management.


Peter Rademan

BSc (Chem Eng) MBA (UCT)

Peter, a founding director of FutureLead, has over 20 years of professional management consulting experience, and is a former associate director of Deloitte Consulting. His earlier career - prior to management consulting - includes the project management of large multi-disciplinary capital projects, plus broad general management experience as the factory manager of an industrial manufacturing operation. His primary consulting focus areas are corporate strategy, organisational transformation, value chain analysis, business process re-engineering, information technology application, manufacturing, operations management, facilities management, maintenance, project management, commercialisation, feasibility reviews and outsourcing.


Adv Johan Naudé


Johan,an Advocate of the High Court of South Africa, started his career as a State Advocate  at the Commercial Division of the Witwatersrand High Court. He later joined a national business development agency as a consultant to the Law Review Project. Johan has published widely on business development policy. Since 1995 he has worked as a consultant in sectors such as the film industry, tourism, education, financial services, business training, SMMEs and local government, and has led assignments such as business and economic development research, institutional capacity building, development project evaluations and impact studies. In association with FutureLead he has participated as lead consultant or project manager in preferential procurement policy design, economic statistical surveys and development policy formulation, support services development for tertiary educational institutions and local government service delivery reviews and institutional strengthening. He has worked in a number of African countries, and conducted study tours in the United States and United Kingdom.


Botha Kruger

Botha is an experienced strategy consultant, project manager and researcher. He specialises in strategy development and organisational design and is an experienced facilitator of work groups, brainstorming and planning sessions. His background in political science and professional exposure to business and information technology start-ups combine to give him a unique perspective on individual and organisational issues within a broader societal context. He has led and project managed complex projects involving co-located and virtual teams, spanning geographical boundaries and time zones. Botha's industry exposure includes ICT; FMCG; telecommunications; banking; retail; media and publishing; fisheries; agriculture, agro-processing and agribusiness; local, provincial and national government; tertiary education, not-for-profit, food processing; public finance; roads and transport. Herman Rhode

(B.Com. Hons, FCIS, Registered Associate General Accountant with SAICA)

Herman has over 12 years of professional public sector financial management consulting experience, is a Director of The Centre for Higher Education Financial Management (CHEFM) and a former Executive Director Finance of the University of the Western Cape. Currently he is the Acting Chief Operation Officer for the University of Monash. His career prior to consulting includes project management of financial reporting projects, operational efficiency improvement assignments and broad general management experience. His primary consulting focus areas are corporate strategy, business process re-engineering, maintenance, financial management, and feasibility reviews. Industry sector experience includes local public entities and higher education institutions.


Fatima Salijee


Fatima represents the corporate linkage between Hlatshwayo Du Plessis Van der Merwe Nkaiseng Attorneys (HVDN), a firm which has recently taken-up corporate membership of FutureLead. She is an admitted attorney practising with HVDN and participating on consulting assignments with FutureLead, often acting as a legal advisor. Currently, Fatima is reading towards her Masters degree in Corporate Law at the University of Johannesburg.

Herman is a businessman with over twenty years of experience in investment services, business performance improvement and integrated development. He is a former partner of the international Deloitte corporate consultancy and has interests in an investment services firm as well as in a private equity fund investing in Sub-Sahara Africa. A considerable part of his career has focused on the application of business oriented solutions to development challenges. He has served as director of several companies and has worked on mandates from blue chip financial and commercial groups as well as development finance institutions. Working from London and Cape Town, he travels Sub-Sahara Africa extensively in the course of his business activities.

An Kritzinger is a consultant with a specialist background as a development economist. She holds a Masters degree in Economics. After completing her undergraduate studies, An worked with the Development Bank of Southern Africa as a researcher. Thereafter she lectured at the University of Stellenbosch while completing her Master's thesis on the economic effects of trade unions. She also acted as consultant to a sectoral analysis of the Western Cape rural economy. An has experience in the training of public officials, the maintaining and updating of economic data, as well as experience with group facilitation work. She has concluded institutional restructuring work in the tertiary education sector.


Eric Milton

BSc (Mathematics & Computer Science), CA (SA)

Eric is an Associate of FutureLead and has over 25 years of experience as a project manager and management consultant. He was previously a partner of PricewaterhouseCoopers in its consulting practice. He is experienced in Strategic Interventions, having facilitated the strategic planning processes, developed business plans and implemented marketing strategies for several clients. He assisted major Private and Public Sector clients with Organizational Renewal/Restructuring, Business Improvement, Business Process Management, major Change Initiatives and Capacity Building. He has conducted major ERP Strategies, Assessments, System Selection, System Design, Development and Implementation.

Kgosietsile Peter Mpuang

(BA (Soc Sci), Postgrad Dipl (Edu), MPA)

Peter is a specialist training and development consultant with 15 years’ experience, involved in the areas of facilitation, management, liaison and governance. He worked at senior management level as Director for Social and Economic Development, developing, managing and implementing LED strategies and projects. In addition, he specialises in community development and inter-governmental relations. He is a registered assessor with the Services Sector Education and Training Authority. Peter's consulting focus areas include human resource management, skills development facilitation, strategic planning, team-building and facilitation of public/community participation processes.


Rian Lamprecht

Rian, has over twenty-five years experience in a range of organisational and business development consultancy, senior management and clinical roles. His expertise is in strategic planning and market assessment, project management in the integration of organisations, and service and product design. A further area of interest is in the impact of commercial and public sector activity on health of communities.  In the UK he has held several corporate roles with the national health services, Durham University Business School, and Salomons; and completed consultancy assignments for government offices, regional development agencies, the Scottish health executive, the Convention of Scottish Local Authorities, and as an expert reviewer for the European Commission’ Peer Review for European Sustainable Urban Development.

His area of specialization is operations management with emphasis on business process design and implementation. Francois works regularly in conjunction with multi-disciplinary teams integrating inputs from strategy, marketing, finance, human resources and information systems with operational and business process considerations.
